George holds a BA in Marketing & Business from Hampshire College and an MSc in Marketing Analytics & Data Science from the University of Groningen — the first grounded in entrepreneurship and liberal arts, the second in statistics, machine learning, and applied data science. He has also earned several certifications, mostly centered on Python, R, and SQL.
He has stayed involved in communities around him: a seat on Hampshire's student-run $1M venture fund, work with UMass Amherst's Entrepreneurship Club and Berthiaume Center, and years with Rotary International. Along the way he received the Grinspoon Entrepreneurship Initiative's Recognition Award and a place in the VVM Startup Accelerator.
Over the years, George has worked across a wide range of ventures and projects, picking up practical proficiency along the way: full-stack development in HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and Python; data science with Python libraries, R, Stata, and SPSS; and, on the visual side, graphic design and video-editing tools, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
